Falyn Strey Successfully Defends her MS thesis!

Congratulations to Falyn Strey who successfully defended her MS thesis today!

Her thesis title is “Fluid flow and deformation: exploring the relationships between fluid flow, deformation mechanisms, quartz crystallographic preferred orientation fabric development, and kinematics in the Willard thrust fault, Utah.”

Falyn is the latest structural geology student to graduate from the UWM Geosciences Department. Her committee is: Dyanna Czeck (advisor), Barry Cameron, Lindsay McHenry. This project is collaborative research with Adolph Yonkee from Weber State University with an assist from Bil Schneider at UW-Madison for the EBSD work.
