Dyanna presents research at Geological Society of America GSA Connects 2021 meeting in Portland, Oregon

Dyanna presented research at the Geological Society of America GSA Connects 2021 meeting in Portland, Oregon this October.

Dyanna presented a poster called “Fluid-driven shifts in deformation mechanisms in quartz-rich rocks near a major fault: Willard thrust zone, northern Utah” with coauthors Falyn Strey (MS, 2021), Adolph Yonkee, and Chad Martin (MS, 2020).

She also presented a talk called “GO FoRWARD: attracting new geosciences majors from diverse backgrounds by integrating research experiences, community building, and career readiness skills at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee” with coauthor Scott Schaefer.
