Josh, Laya, Nathan, and Kris sat down to play Crawl (Powerhoof, 2017). As has been the case with most of the competitive local multiplayer games this month, there was not much in the way of academic discussion. Some of the themes that were discussed were acclimation to controls, the chaos of activity on screen, and translating the mechanics of unfamiliar games.
