Welcome to the group of Computational Biophysics!

Our projects center around developing innovative and powerful data-analytic methods to study the underlying structure, dynamics, and function of biological molecules and extract accurate information from biological datasets. We use theory, data science, and state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. We primarily apply these techniques to data from coherent X-ray sources such as X-ray free-electron lasers, nevertheless, many of these developments are applicable to other types of data, for instance, those collected by electron microscopy and NMR methods, as well as medical and astronomical data. We welcome research collaborations in all these areas.
