This page is a work in progress as I transfer a large number of resources from the course’s Canvas site to the web. I hope to have this page filled out by the end of January 2024. Thank you for your interest and patience! -CE

Overview

This course help first-year Atmospheric Science majors develop the skills and networks necessary to thrive in the major, in college, and in life; become aware of the diversity of career options, scholarship opportunities, and internship programs available in the field; and formulate an appropriate course of study to help them decide what type of career they’d like to pursue and to help them land their first job in the field. Students in this course are also paired with a peer mentor with whom they are required to meet at least once and have two required meetings (one early and one late in the semester) with their academic advisor.
