The Structural Geology class had a lovely day for their traditional trip to Devil’s Lake State Park and Rock Springs, Wisconsin to look at rocks deformed within the Baraboo Syncline. The students practiced their Brunton compass skills to measure orientations of geologic features and were able to study boudinage, small folds, cleavage refraction, and many other great structures! Professor Dyanna Czeck and Teaching Assistants J Schneider and Linsey Hula led the trip.
