The PLANTCULT research initiative is funded by the European Research Council and aims to explore prehistoric cuisines of Europe, in particular their plant ingredients and their transformation into meals. PlantCult is based at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. The workshop was funded by the European Research Council, the EU, and the Baden-Württemberg State Monuments Office.
