About

Anne Pycha

I am an associate professor of linguistics at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee (UWM), where I conduct experimental research in phonology, morphology, and phonetics. I earned my Ph.D at the University of California, Berkeley and I worked as an IGERT post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Research in Cognitive Science at the University of Pennsylvania.

In 2022, I received the UWM Office of Research / UWM Foundation Research Award. This award recognizes and encourages UWM assistant and associate professors who have demonstrated potential to achieve distinction in their academic disciplines through scholarship, creative activity, and the dissemination of knowledge.
