The Advocacy & Resource Development Subcommittee is responsible for gathering relevant data/information pertinent to multicultural students and using that information to improve the campus environment. More specifically, this subcommittee will:
- Utilize any data/report information pertinent to multicultural students to improve campus environment:
- i.e., M-Cubed Initiative Focus Groups
- Construct accountability protocol for campus
- Monitoring dashboard information regarding students of color/underrepresented student groups; Student Financial Services, Success Markers (i.e. graduation rates), etc.
- Researching what areas on campus/system-wide are providing reports regarding student success, etc.
- Formulate useful ways to utilize data and information
- Resource allocation – ways in which we can impact how resources are utilized in support of multicultural students, faculty, and staff
- Soliciting feedback from students directly regarding their needs and promoting awareness of how those needs should be addressed
