How does Wisconsin Statute § 157.70 relate to the MCPFC?

Cemetery disturbance, archaeological excavations, and archaeological analysis in Wisconsin are governed by the state’s burial sites preservation statute (Wis. Stat. §157.70), enacted in 1987. The Wisconsin Historical Society maintains a useful general information page, “Human Burials, Mounds and Cemeteries and State Law.”
