Postdocs – We are always looking for postdocs who are passionate about the interactions of microbial ecology, water and health. Postdocs in the lab have many opportunities to network and work with local stakeholders as well as State and Federal agencies. Graduate Students – Highly motivated and independent graduate students pursuing PhD or MS degrees should feel free to contact us anytime. The overall focus of the lab is microbiology, but our interests range from microbial community genomics to examining local water quality issues and larger water policy questions. Students with backgrounds in  microbiology, chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, and environmental sciences are encouraged to contact me. A student in our lab will gain multi-disciplinary training and will be expected to significantly contribute to the goals of the lab.

Undergrads – We hire qualified undergrads part-time during the school year and full-time over the summer. Undergrads help with field season sampling, graduate student projects, and small projects of their own. It is preferred that undergrads plan on working in the lab for several years.
