In our lab we use non-evasive, child-friendly techniques to learn how children use information to make predictions. Most of our studies are presented as games in which we show children pictures, or toy replicas, of animals and then tell them some facts about the animals. Then we might ask children questions about other animals. The exact contents of these games vary depending on the goals of our experiments. Children often find these games fun to play, and enjoy working individually with our trained researchers.
If you are interested in learning more about our research or would like to ask any questions please contact the director of the lab, Dr. Chris Lawson, lawson2@uwm.edu.
