Manipulating magnetic domains will play a key role in technological development and advancements, as we have learned from recent breakthroughs in AFM spintronics. Thus imaging of AFM domains has risen to equal, if not greater, importance. One material already under investigation, ScMn6Sn6, a topological antiferromagnet whose electrical properties are influenced by its AFM domains, is isostructural in crystal and AFM structure to our material ScMn6Sn6. In studying ScMn6Sn6 and its domains, we hope to understand both materials better. To study AFM domains in ScMn6Sn6, we grow single crystals using the high temperature growth technique and verify it is in the correct phase via x-ray diffraction. Sample growth resulted in a black ~2x2mm single crystal with a hexagonal shape. X-ray diffraction measurements confirmed it was in the desired phase. With our material in the correct phase, we concluded that it was ready for further x-ray study.
