Philip Chang (PI)

Philip Chang (chang65@uwm.edu) is Professor of Physics at UWM.  He is an expert in theoretical and computational astrophysics and is the chief developer of the MANGA code.  His major scientific interests include numerical methods, stellar mergers, tidal disruption events, and galactic acceleration.

Mahsa Dabagh (dabaghme@uwm.edu) is Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at UWM. She is an expert in computational bioengineering, cell biomechanics, and mechanobiology. Her major scientific interests include computational methods, cancer metastasis, and vascular diseases.

Susan McRoy (mcroy@uwm.edu) is Professor of Computer Science at UWM.  She is an
expert in Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Modelling.  Her major scientific
interests include automated content analysis to identify expressed needs & opinions; and text-based methods for explaining or interacting with Artificial Intelligence (AI) models.

Dr. Marjorie Piechowski (piechow4@uwm.edu) is Emerita Director of Research Support in the College of Engineerin & Applied Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has over 35 years of experience in faculty grant development and research administration. She is a highly experienced professional who has conducted evaluations of federally funded research and education projects. She has served in leadership roles in the National Organization of Research Development Professionals, the National Council of University Research Administrators and the Society of Research Administrators International, serving as International and Midwest Section president and as a Distinguished Faculty.
