I first published a series of web pages about searching for and applying to graduate school in the early 1990s. A lot has changed since that initial website, especially the technology available to would-be graduate students to help them search for a graduate degree or certificate program (search engines were just attaining prominence, and now-household names like Google and Bing were still years in the future), and the technology that allows them to apply for admission online, and in some cases even complete their degrees online.

I’m taking advantage of the University’s decision to use WordPress to publish web pages to give my site a thorough review. I anticipate that the new site will be much more compact, because a lot of the information still on the pages was quite dated, and need not be kept.
