Currently, we are recruiting eligible participants through two Erie Family Health Center (EFHC) clinics: The Erie Teen Center and The Division Street Clinic.
To be eligible:
- Expectant fathers must be between the ages of 18-29.
- Expectant mothers must be between 17 and 25 and have no other children.
- Couples do not need to be married or be in a romantic relationship.
- Both English and Spanish speaking expectant parents are welcome.
- The study is open to couples regardless of their immigration or insurance status.
- If the participant is under 18 years old, they will need to get their parent or legal guardian’s written consent.
What are the Incentives for Participating?
Both mothers and fathers are each paid a $25 gift card for coming to the 1st meeting and a $40 gift card for your time at the end of the meeting for a total of $65 each plus a free pair of shoes. See the shoe incentive guide below for details regarding shoe selection:
