Wrapping up his week in Milwaukee, Issa Nyaphaga performed at Arts@Large Saturday, October 5th. The Urban Way is a live art performance that Issa does around the world. It is a conversation between Issa and the local musician accompanying him. Mitch Shiner, a local percussionist improvising music inspired Issa’s movements and painting. Bouncing inspiration off each other the music and the painting evolved together and what seemed like two separate pieces of art created one final piece.
