Our Vision
We believe that high-quality assessment practices are instrumental for promoting optimal outcomes for students with communication difficulties. Comprehensive evaluations, which include a variety of standardized and non-standardized methods, lead to accurate and equitable eligibility decisions for all students. In addition, assessments that describe students’ participation in everyday school activities are essential for identifying students’ disability-related needs. Our goal is to support SLPs’ implementation of comprehensive evaluations to design individualized educational programs that promote students’ access, engagement, and progress in age or grade-level curriculum, instruction, and environments.
