Electronic Structure Theory Group Overview

The research in the group is focused on the theoretical/first-principles description of the electronic, magnetic, and structural properties of complex materials, especially at surfaces and interfaces. Much of the research is done in close collaboration with experimentalists. In addition, there is an on-going effort to develop electronic structure methods.
