I took this photo on Monday the 27th, possibly one of the last 80-degree days for a while. I found this interesting because of the simple beauty that is found in nature. After taking the picture, I started to think how none of this would be possible without the sun (light). By saying this, I mean the flowers wouldn’t grow, and the butterfly wouldn’t see…

Most of all, there wouldn’t be any light waves a.ka (electromagnetic radiation). In return, the colors on the butterfly and flowers would have nothing to reflect to the human eye. Therefore we could not see!
