I notice this all the time when I drive in the rain, but when it’s wet out all the lighting coming from anywhere becomes more intense and there’s more of it because of the reflection from the rain. Light reflects what looks like 6 ft deep into the streets. There so much more color and it’s more intense. You can see all the extra blend of red in this photo and even a hint of blue/purple from the sign two blocks up and the white from the cars facing you. It can all become blurry and mix when it’s too much and there is no control of it.
