Artist Statement
Jon O’Brien is a multidisciplinary artist and fabricator with a background in both architecture and digital fabrication. His varied experience lends a unique perspective on design and the means with which products are manufactured. His love of designing and building led to the creation of bespoke furniture for himself and others. His work seeks to bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary fabrication methods while imparting an intimate touch through creating items to comfort their users.
