BA, Art (Community Arts)

Artist Statement

As a Community Arts major, it is my goal to engage communities that are in need of artistic outlets to express themselves to better their communities through personal empowerment, or by bringing awareness to political, social or environmental issues. In my own personal work, my main concentration is in drawing and painting, with heavy emphasis on the figure as well as playing with surrealism and landscapes; precision and details are a very big part of my process.
