Artist Statement

In my BA project, I will be interviewing individuals asking them for their names, and asking the question “What is Beauty”? And “How is Beauty Represented in Music Today”? As an individual response to both the questions, I will be shedding light on how beauty is looked at differently by each person. As I video shoot each individual, there will elaborate on how music and beauty are woven together as a complete aspect of each other. The video footage of each participant will highlight there true meaning of beauty that represents as a whole. Upon editing the final product of the video will show the sound of music in which I will incorporate live video of the participants.

Nevertheless, this BA Project will include images of participants who I have identified as models that defend beauty. Along with, the participants I will also include a demonstration of examples of products that symbolizes beauty at its finest. By hosting, a live demonstration you will have the ability to see how people use beauty as part of self-care.

In this BA Project, you would be able to see highlights of males and females explaining the music of today. Also, you will see males and females talking about beauty from different viewpoints. The interoperation of beauty will be explained much differently for the male. Whereas, the females’ views of beauty will be more expansive.

Altogether, the creative process of creating a sound video that defends how we depict beauty will be seen in voice by participants in different ways. The action behind the video will result in outcomes that will address the researchable question of “What is Beauty? And “How is Beauty Represented in Music Today”?

Lastly, as a new coming artist, my creative design will show purpose and creative ability to show artwork that have been developed and designed that is acceptable for public viewing.
