Dehumanization is REDACTED
Transgender people are being killed. They are being dehumanized. They are actively being treated as non-human so that people can forget that transgender people exist, erasure, being viewed as some type of mangled monster that the right wants to lock up and torture. Dehumanization is REDACTED lets the viewer in on a government whistle blower that knows the truth about the trend of missing transgender people that has been going on across the country. Through case files, the viewer can look at each individual’s story and how the government brutally mutilated these people and turned them into living monsters. Through mounted prints, the viewer can see what these people have gone through to become monstrous creatures with little to no humanity left to them. Dehumanization is REDACTED was created with the hopes of bringing awareness to the dehumanization of transgender people that is going on in today’s society. It is real, and it’s scarier than anything one can imagine.
