Artist Statement
As times are changing, the digital world keeps growing and evolving. With this series I focus on the dichotomy between the digital and the physical. It is common for people to have concerns about our dependency on technology, losing human interaction and human touch. My goal with this series is to highlight the similarities between the digital and physical and explore the possibilities of the digital space that can be a tool in service of the physical world. I do this by creating a series of sculptures that exist virtually in the form of animations, as well as in the form of 3D printed sculptures. In this series you will see 3D Printed sculptures working in connection with digital animations that highlight the pieces.
