Artist Statement

Fabricating with a mind built like a storage cube, each compartment holds a piece to the puzzle, and ultimately allows my designs to pattern themselves through naturalistic evolution.  Consuming unnecessary space feels foul to me, like the crumbled paper of unfinished sketches consuming the chambers of my internal jump drive.  I like to feel as if my designs start like a sunrise, leaving enough space through the depths of time to enjoy the unknown journey. The toolbox of life is reaching the sunset, where the days work feels stable and grounded in a world built through divisive circumstances. I want my work to talk with no words, I want the feeling of happiness to overwhelm the embedded fear of the human mind, through the distraction my work allocates.  Pride built upon function before beauty will forever remain at the center of my designs, allowing the unknown to function as oil to the turning gear.
