Hesamedin H. Sadeghi, Ph.D.

Hesamedin H. Sadeghi received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, his M.S. degree in power engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, England, and his Ph.D. degree in electronic systems engineering from Essex University, Colchester, U.K., in 1980, 1984, and 1991, respectively.

In 1992, he was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. During 1996-1997, and 2005-2006 he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He joined Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran where he was promoted to the position of Full Professor of electrical engineering. He holds 3 patents and is the author or coauthor of one book and over 250 scientific papers published in reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. His current research interests include electromagnetic non-destructive evaluation of materials and electromagnetic compatibility issues in power engineering. Professor Sadeghi is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers .

Necmi Altin,  Ph.D.

Necmi Altin received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in from Gazi University, Department of Electrical Education in Ankara, Turkey, in 2000, 2003, and 2009.

In 2010, he joined the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department at Gazi University as an Assistant Professor, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014. He is the co-author of a book chapter and has over 70 scientific papers published in reviewed journals and has presented those papers at international conferences. His research interests include power electronics, applications of power electronics in renewable energy systems, high-power-factor rectifiers, grid interactive inverters, and control systems. Dr. Necmi Altin has been a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers since 2011.

Saban Ozdemir, Ph.D.

Saban Ozdemir received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees at Gazi University from the Department of Electrical Education in Ankara, Turkey, in 2004, 2007, and 2013, respectively.

From 2008 to 2009, he worked at Baskent University, Ankara where he worked as a lecturer. In 2009, he began working at Gazi University which is where he is currently employed in the Department of Energy System Engineering. His  research interests include dc-dc converters, uninterruptible power supplies and grid interactive inverters. Dr. Saban Ozdemir is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers since 2012.
