The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s School Psychology program is offering professional growth programs for school-based mental health professionals. The goal of this project is to provide interactive, flexible, and thoughtful professional development training on a variety of mental health topics specifically designed for school psychologists, school social workers, and school counselors for application in the school environment.

This project is sponsored by the Federal School-Based Mental Health Professionals grant WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI) received. This grant specifically targets school psychologists, school social workers, and school counselors.

We are currently offering four programs. Psychological First Aid for Schools, Skills for Psychological Recovery, Emotion Regulation for Children and Adolescents, and Resilience for Students and Professionals. Participants may be eligible for continuing education hours.
