Work from Dr. Joshua Leonardis on shoulder movement variability during the transition to adulthood following pediatric spinal cord injury and from Samantha Schwartz on the evaluation of upper limb asymmetry in manual wheelchair users with pediatric spinal cord injury was featured in podium talks at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) in New Orleans.
Samantha Schwartz presented findings from a study on handrim biomechanics and wheelchair fit measures in pediatric and emerging adult manual wheelchair users in a podium talk at the Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering, and Biotransport Conference in Maryland.
The joint meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics and Canadian Society of Biomechanics in the North American Congress on Biomechanics in Ottawa, Canada featured research from Dr. Joshua Leonardis, Dr. Hyo Jung Jeong and Dr. Anahita Qashqai, and Caleb Cordes in poster presentations, and a podium talk from Dr. Alyssa Schnorenberg.
