11th Biennial ISIPT Conference: “Building Bridges to Improve Global Mental Health”

      The Milwaukee Muslim Film Festival will be showcasing a diverse selection of films and hosting post-screening discussions delving into the complexity of Muslim experiences from around the world.

      Dr. Srishti Sardana will be a talk-back panelist for the Film “Land of my Dreams” which is being screened on October 5th at 4 PM CST at the Oriental Theatre.

      Honoring Latine Heritage Month

      Co-sponsored by the UWM Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies and The Nagy Lab 

      This conversation series aims to spotlight the experiences, models, and challenges of mental health initiatives across Latin America led by women clinicians, researchers, and activists. By centering their leadership and lived expertise, the series seeks to foster the exchange of knowledge, practices, and culturally grounded perspectives between Latin America and the UWM community. It will create a space for dialogue on inclusive, community-based mental health care that bridges global insights with local action. The event will be in English and/or with English interpretation.
