

Who are we?
Student Advocates & Alumni for Maternal & Child Health Equity (SAAMCHE) is a student-led group committed to engaging in collective efforts to champion equity in maternal and child health in Wisconsin and beyond.
We are seeking students at all levels and from various programs to join us as we:
- Develop our capacity as leaders in MCH
- Pursue student-led efforts to advocate for maternal & child health equity and reproductive justice, and
- Engage in opportunities to learn from and support our communities.

SAMCHE representatives attended the 43rd Annual Minority Health Conference to gain skills in addressing health inequities.


Dec. 2021
MCH student interest group finalized our mission statement, action plan and renamed the group to Student Advocates for Maternal and Child Health Equity (SAMCHE).
