Prospective Clastic Sedimentology and Stratigraphy Students
Interested students (prospective undergraduate and graduate students) who are hardworking, not afraid of making mistakes as part of the learning process, and who are passionate about geology should contact Dr. Isbell about classes and research opportunities. Students study clastic sedimentology/stratigraphy, and work on field and laboratory projects in Antarctica, South America, Australia, South Africa, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Utah, and Montana. They also work on modeling sedimentation using the department’s flume research facility.
