Funded Project: Learning and Discovering in Experimental Environmental Health Science: On the Path from Data to Knowledge

Goal: The SEPA program will engage in-service and pre-service teachers and students with an in-depth introduction to the scientific method and its components that is closely linked to the conduct of the experiment modules. A major focus will involve analytical applications of data science that emerge after aggregating large amounts of data submitted by students to a computational portal and data repository.

Goal: It is strongly desirable to initialize cross-institutional multidisciplinary collaboration to support early career researchers in big data research. The collaborative workshops create a platform for early career researchers to initialize, discuss, and present results of big data science research in the healthcare industry. The topic theme of the workshops focuses on using big data-driven approaches to improve healthcare outcome and enhance the efficiency of healthcare workflow.
