After having served in the Marines, I received a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento in 2019. I had my start in research as a member of Dr. Sharon Furtak’s lab. Here I studied the role of brain structures in rodents involved in unifying complex stimuli. Specifically, I looked at the role of the the perirhinal cortex in unifying multimodal stimuli. I joined Dr. Helmstetter’s lab to further my understanding of the neurobiology of learning and memory.
