Summary | This course offers a tailored introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) for professionals working in Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums (GLAM). Comprising seven self-paced modules, the course begins with foundational concepts and terminology that define the AI paradigm. Building on this foundation, subsequent lessons explore practical applications of AI in GLAM contexts—such as text analysis using natural language processing (NLP) and image analysis through computer vision techniques. The course also includes a dedicated module on ethical considerations, with particular emphasis on identifying and managing algorithmic bias. |
