Summary As stated by the AI4LAM committee, the broad objective of the AI4LAM events is to function as a “collaborative framework for libraries, archives and museums to organize, share, and elevate their knowledge about and use of artificial intelligence”. As an international community, AI4LAM has been hosting annual conferences called “Fantastic Futures” at international sites since 2018. A list of links to the previous conferences is available at the home page of the website. The upcoming London 2025 conference places a specific emphasis on exploring applications of AI for cultural, research and heritage collections. The main conference site presents an archive of previous events, including presentation recordings and supplemental materials. Besides the annual conferences, AI4LAM has an AI reading group and curates a resource list containing learning materials, tools, and projects focusing on AI in LAM (libraries, archives, and museums). The list is available in the “Resource List” section of this guide.
