Summary | This master resource list is created by the University of Virginia Library to support students, faculty, and researchers in navigating the landscape of generative AI in higher education. It covers key topics including: 1) What generative AI is; 2) Ethical AI use and cautions; 3) Copyright and intellectual property; 4) Publishing with AI; 5) Citing and documenting AI in research; 6) Use of generative AI tools and images; 7) Bibliographies and further reading; 8) UVA-supported tools such as Copilot Chat and Consensus (an AI-powered academic search engine). Each section is accompanied by explanatory notes and curated resources that highlight critical points of the resources.
