I’m David Delgado, a seasoned Instructional Technologist with a passion for integrating technology into the educational landscape. I have decades of diverse experience spanning Teaching and Learning, Learning Technology, Information Technology, Instructional Design, and Web/Media fields, my career has been dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of students and faculty alike. Currently, I serve as the LMS Administrator and Digital Learning Environment Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I lead the alignment of technology with pedagogy to drive student success.

I am a collaborator with faculty, staff, and the greater community; I am a leader in implementing emerging technologies, and I am committed to inclusivity and student-centered learning. I hold a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Web Development from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. My academic background, combined with extensive professional experience, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to lead in the ever-changing field of educational technology.

My career has been marked by several significant achievements, including the successful migration of all for-credit and non-credit courses from D2L Brightspace to Canvas at UW-Milwaukee, the launch of the Teaching and Learning Support stakeholder group, and by being a thought leader in the implementation of Generative Artificial Intelligence. These projects, among others, reflect my commitment to innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
