The Concrete Advancement Network (CAN) recently held its Closed Industry Advisory Board (IAB) Spring Project Review and Idea Ranking Session, chaired by Sam Lines, with Trevor Towery serving as vice chair. The meeting aimed to assess the progress and future potential of ongoing projects, review new proposals, and strategize upcoming initiatives. Four ongoing projects were evaluated, each demonstrating solid progress. The meeting also included discussions on funding philosophy, emphasizing the selection of impactful projects aligned with short-, medium-, and long-term goals. Additionally, 17 newly submitted project ideas were reviewed and ranked by industry partners to identify key priority topics. Plans were also outlined for the upcoming September meeting in Oregon.
