The UWM IAC provided services to numerous small and medium-sized manufacturers not only in major cities but also in economically disadvantaged areas. For example, the counties of Kenosha, Ozaukee and Kewaunee in Wisconsin saved a total of $636,078 recommended on 4.8 million kWh saved, 12,735 KW demand reduction and 282,755 therms saved. The center provides an increased amount of IAC services for under-served manufacturers and water facilities in those economically disadvantaged areas through our partners including Focus on Energy, Northeastern Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance, and Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership. A list of 20 manufacturers and 10 water/wastewater treatment plants in these areas have already been identified for IAC assessment through our partnership network.
