Mohamed Maache, MSc


Mohamed Maache is a dedicated Ph.D. student in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He joined the Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) in 2019 as an undergraduate. He serves as both a research and teaching assistant who instructs mechanical engineering undergraduate classes. His research focuses on renewable energies and energy sustainability using bio resources.

Within the ITAC, Mohamed is committed to developing cutting-edge solutions for clean energy and smart manufacturing. He conducts ASHRAE Level I and II energy assessments for small and medium size manufacturers in the Midwest area. Outside of his academic pursuits, he dedicates his time to giving back to the community through student organizations and volunteering with the College of Engineering.

In his free time, Mohamed enjoys playing music, particularly the guitar, and stays active by playing soccer and volleyball.
