Can freshmen engineering students apply for a job at ITAC? Yes, freshmen engineering students can apply for a job at ITAC. All majors within the College of Engineering and Applied Science are eligible to apply. New ITAC members will receive training and work alongside more experienced members to gain valuable experience and skills.

How do new students receive funding at ITAC?

Graduate Students: New graduate student typically receive a research assistant contract, which covers tuition and provides a monthly salary. This allows them to focus on their research and contributions to ITAC without financial burden.

Undergraduate Students: We recommend undergraduate students to apply for the Support for Undergraduate Research Fellows (SURF) program. This program provides hourly payment for their work, allowing them to gain experience and earn money while contributing to ITAC projects.
