Abdel Rahman Salem


Since Abdel Rahman entered the industry of mechanical engineering, he has been pushing forth new and innovative ideas. With two years of experience at building services and management. He is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Mechanical Engineering Department at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a Research Assistant in the Industrial Assessment Center of UWM (WM-IAC) for energy, productivity, and waste assessments. Also, he is a Research Assistant in the gas turbine Lab in University Services & Research at UWM. Mr. Abdel Rahman received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 from Al-Balqa Applied University (in Jordan) as the first place holder among his graduate batch. 

His current research interests include 1) Energy Auditing, Energy Efficiency, and Sustainability, 2) Renewable Energy, and 3) Gas turbine cooling methods.

Mr. Abdel Rahman has published 2 conference papers in gas-turbines and  energy auditing.
