CARGI conducts research with the intent of helping people work safer and avoid injury. Through state of the art research, field work, education and outreach, and impact surveys, CARGI is always working to better the lives of workers in a variety of industries.

CARGI has worked on projects that range from Personal Protective Equipment testing, kneeling studies, gas and electric transmission, energy (wind, solar, and biofuel), power generation, oil and gas, foundry’s, and kinesio tape.

Their research and findings have led them to be nationally recognized and funded, with many of their ideas and solutions adopted on a national or international level. CARGI’s study on hand dexterity resulted in the national standard being changed, and their work and findings in the oil and gas sector were adopted by oil and insurance companies.
