Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies class introduces civil engineering students to the new and evolving world of sustainability considerations in construction. This class will focus on sustainable construction materials and methodologies related to commercial construction, including LEED/Green certifications.
Properties of fresh and hardened concrete, including rheology, strength, elastic modulus, drying shrinkage, creep, permeability and durability to a variety of aggressive environments depending on the concrete composition and its internal structure.
